Dani Sweeney

Vice President

Dani Sweeney brings years of experience working with children in professional and educational settings to the Washington County Commission for Women.

Dani is passionate about community service. She was taught at a young age to always give back when you can, and continues to use this as a guiding principle in her life. She cares deeply about women's empowerment and advocacy.

Dani holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Frostburg State University. She also has an Associate in Sciences (A.S.) in Human Services and an Associate in Arts (A.A.) in Psychology from Hagerstown Community College. She is a member of the Phi Theta Cappa Honors Society. Dani is looking to pursue a graduate degree in speech language pathology in the future.

While her journey has many unknowns ahead, she wants her work to make Washington County a great place for her future children to grow up in.

Dani lives in Hagerstown with her husband and her 2 cats, Millie and Diego.

I live in this community as a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, worker and student. It is important to make the choice to care about and contribute to the community and people around you.
