Gwenn Leatherman

Commissioner

Gwenn Leatherman, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, is a distinguished healthcare professional, advocate, and educator committed to advancing community health. As the proud owner of Leatherman Healthcare, LLC, and H&G Elite Wellness, LLC, she has emerged as a trailblazer in holistic healthcare.
 

Gwenn graduated as a Registered Nurse (RN) from Frederick Community College in 2009. Then went on to finish her Master of Science degree in Family Practice at Shenandoah University, graduating in 2016. Finally, in 2020 she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) also from Shenandoah University.
 

She opened her primary care practice, Leatherman Healthcare, LLC in 2022 and in 2023, Gwenn expanded her vision by opening H&G Elite Wellness, LLC, a weight loss, and hormone replacement clinic. She is also the founder, of the Advanced Practice Providers of Washington County, MD group. This group meets monthly to provide education and networking for our local providers.

I believe in supporting other women in our community and fostering supportive relationships.
